The fixing holes on the Type-RNG should be oversized and screws should not be over-tightened. A gap should be left between adjoining lengths to allow for expansion, 2-3mm will be sufficient for most needs but where extremes of temperature change are possible, a gap of 6mm should be left. Conduit should be able to move freely within saddles or clips and it is recommended that an expansion coupling is installed when a straight run exceeds 6m.
