Intumescent Trunking Pillows

Reinforced glass cloth pillows filled with fire-stopping sponge and intumescent material. Expands up to 3 times its original size in a fire, creating an intumescent seal and significantly reducing fire damage. Prevents fire spread within gaps inside plastic or metal trunking in walls, floors or ceilings. Pillows will expand at low pressure, in effect locking together to seal off fire without negatively impacting the integrity of the trunking.Trunking pillows are designed with a retention tag to attach to trunking for access. They sit tightly inside PVC or metal trunking compressed against wires and cables. Also designed with non-fibrous, dust-free material, making them suitable for sterile rooms and hospitals. Suitable for use for cable trunking that house 30-50% wires or cables.
