This Nexus 800 series white moulded RCD fused connection unit from British General continuously monitors the supply to any electrical appliance hardwired to it and cuts the power if an earth current fault is detected protecting against the risk of a fatal electric shock. This latched (passive) version, if set, will retain closed contacts if the mains supply is interrupted – essential for appliances like fridge freezers, with no need to reset after a loss of power. Its moulded white front-plate has a high resistance to fading, discolouration and scratches, with inherent anti-microbial properties proven to reduce bacterial development and inhibit the growth of infectious diseases.
