Danlers Wall Mounted PIR Occupancy Switch replaces an existing wall switch, no neutral wire is needed. It fits into a plaster depth wall box. The WAPIR model also has a manual override off switch on the front of the plate. It requires a permanent live supply and should only be used in applications where the load WILL BE ON for LESS than 16 hours per day. This is to allow its rechargeable battery enough time to recharge itself from the mains supply. The WAPIR is supplied with a load capacitor to augment small loads. It has a push button on the front plate to select between ‘override off’ or ‘automatic mode’. A short press activates the override OFF mode. A slowly pulsing LED behind the button indicates when the control is in override OFF mode. The LED can be deactivated by pressing and holding the button for approximately 10 seconds. To reactivate the LED a 10 seconds press and hold is required. It switches up to 6 amps (1500W) of resistive, fluorescent, electronic and wire wound transformer, LED lamps and drivers, or 1 amp (250W) of fans. It switches minimum load of 20W per WAPIR in the circuit, a load capacitor (CAPLOAD) is supplied to augment small loads.
