Regarded as a classic among infrared motion detectors, it has been further improved with even more horizontal and vertical adjustment angles. Capable of targeted detection along buildings with a 140° angle of coverage, a reach of up to 14m and even more detection levels, the IS 140-2 watches over even greater areas. Further improvements mean its optical system is now fitted with precision, spherical Fresnel lenses that detect people with even greater precision and provide uniquely constant reach. The unit swivels through 180° and tilts through 90° for exact adjustment of the detection zone. The detection zone can also be customised using the shrouds provided. On the IS 140-2, time and twilight threshold are easily adjusted by the control dial underneath the sensor lens.
